Easter At Anthem

Jesus is victorious over the one thing that none of us can overcome on our own. Death. It awaits every human being, but in Jesus, we, with him, will overcome death.

On Easter we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the grave over 2000 years ago. Christ's victory over death brings life and peace for those who believe in him.

You are invited to join Anthem Church in celebrating this momentous occasion that changed everything.

Good Friday

We are coming together to celebrate and remember the work of Jesus, his death on the cross that purchased our entry into the family of God. We will spend some time in worship, teaching and taking communion together.

Saturday Fast

After taking communion together on Good Friday, we will fast from food on Saturday, and devote that time to prayer and seeking the Lord.

Easter Sunday

On Sunday we will come together to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus, his victory over death and sin.

For the kids

We are so excited to celebrate Easter with your kiddos!

Our infant room will be open and ready to hold and love our littlest kids, we have so many amazing volunteers who cherish this sweet time with your precious babies! Jesus loves each of this little ones so very much and so do we!

In our toddler room we are really looking forward to a fun and energetic morning with a mix of free time for the kids to play and some Easter activities for them to work on. We are excited to take time to read through some stories and talk with them about why we celebrate Easter. While all of the kids may not completely understand, it is never too early to begin introducing The Big God Story and the story of Easter. God really promised to send a Redeemer; He really kept the promise alive throughout his whole big story; He really sent His Son to die for us; and He really redeemed us from our sin because He really loves us that much! Our prayer for this Easter is for these little ones to really begin to know this truth of how loved they are by Jesus!

Our kindergartners through 5th grade will be jumping into The Big God Story with a little extra focus on Easter! Our prayer for our time with the kids is that each of us will remember how God sent Jesus as our promised Savior, Jesus is the promise, because of Jesus, we get to be with God forever and ever! It will be a busy morning filled with games, crafts, stories, snacks, egg hunt and most importantly time to talk about Jesus. God has a big story, and He has invited each one of us to be part of it! We are so excited to really celebrate Jesus on this day.
